Alexander Wang jacket, HM leather shorts, Zara shoes

Pretending that leather shorts and bare legs are a good thing for Courchevel's winter. Still keeping my upper body warm though with Alex Wang'slacquered knit. This is probably the best thing that has happened to me during the sales. Intentionally (it's important to clarify that). And I sort of love how it offers a possibility of rolled up sleeves whilst still keeping my wrists covered. Indoorsy chalet snaps.

Made it to Antwerp on a wednesday noon to see the brand new Filippa K for the approaching sun lit season. The whole collection does justice to what FK is in its essence - the cleanest cut scandinavian basics executed at the top of the minimalist game. Even though it seems like, if played wisely, there is something perfect for any given moment... day and night. The solitude of neutral hues provides for great layering options, causing my fixation on a navy bomber to evolve into a paired up duo with an ice-cream coloured sweatshirt and a pair of leggings. This is probably the first time I am openly ok with the aforementioned type of bottoms, as ordinarily anything resembling tights and worn with a sweater is a big 'no-no' for me. FK did a pair of suede-ish tight-ies so close to skinny jeans and so soft that you could possibly spend hours on a plane wearing these and probably still feel alright by the end of the day. Plus there is just enough ankle exposure with these to make things interesting. Sportswear bra tops seemed even more appealing and I even considered adding up to my styling equation. Although worn on its own with anything high waisted would do just fine. But my favourite of all, if I ever had to choose, would be a classic leather backpack from their mens line. I love the idea of being able to add certain level of functionality and cool, without having to commit to anything baggy and disproportionately oversized. Cannot get it out of my head.

You can see the collection in more detail over here.

Weekender flash shots. For the sole purpose of black and white leather glory. The most basic outfit ever, but taken up a notch with a bare torso in an attempt to emphasise the existence of that leather bra under the layers of feathers within my jacket.

Fantasising of summer.

I'm ready to accept that whites are currently dominating my non-winter wardrobe. And I have already shifted my fashion-game thinking to march, or even better april... regardless the fact that I will still have a week of snowy Alps to come in a couple of days. My goal is to live through it with most of my SS regular grabs and a couple of snowboarding necessities. Close to impossible. I just thought I'd prepare you guys for that.

Alexander Wang leather puffer jacket (in light grey), Vintage leather skirt, Zara silk shirt, Balenciaga Derby boots, Illesteva Leonard sunglasses

The jacket is the story of my winter. But you probably already new that. And for your better inspection here goes a shot of my patchy leather skirt. It's all good with sweaters and such, except for one surprising property to open the whole way up until the belt any time I have to climb a bunch of stairs or go up anything for that matter. Oh well...  No questions asked. I love that it almost looks like a monochrome chess board. So much for the SS'13 Louis Vuitton as a muted inspiration.

The shots are from a random basement, as I'm still figuring out what to do with my dressing up skills when it's a complete downpour outside on top of getting dark way before dinner hour.
